Nils

Nils was born in the darkened alleys of Esotropolis, the bustling heart of Slygard. The Shadowfolk, his people, linger on the margins of society, a stark contrast to the glamor of the high echelons. Nils’ early life was defined by the struggle inherent to the lower classes, but even as a child, his intellect marked him as an outlier—a genius among the desperate.

As a youth, he experienced what he believed was a divine visitation: a vision from Loki, the embodiment of mischief and cunning. The god warned of an impending cataclysm, a destructive force bred from the rigid order of the galactic empire. This vision became Nils’ driving force, convincing him that he was chosen to instigate the chaos necessary to avert disaster.
Nils father was killed for ethical violations resulting from his attempts to protect Nils; a fact which haunts him.

Nils is a complex individual, embracing a philosophy of ‘Lawful Chaos.’ He operates by a personal code that champions disorder as a means to an end. A prodigy in technological arts, he can manipulate systems and bend them to his will, orchestrating disruptions that ripple across societies.
